DIPLO recalls a special moment with Jimin while working on “Into the Sun” Diplo shared that when they started working on the song, it was just Jimin singing over a guitar line with distortion, and they immediately felt like it was perfect and could be the hook. He added that Jimin, alongside the team and V, helped shape what the song would be about, and that the whole track came together incredibly fast, in about 20 minutes! Jimin’s musical instinct really stands out! #JIMIN #지민 방탄소년단

Say thank u jimin . 🐥 "I made the bridge part in 3 or 4 minutes." 🐥With 'Dis-ease,' I made the melody of the bridge. That part was actually left empty. I wasn't like, 'I'll take this part and work on it!' But while we were recording, 🐥 I was just humming to myself because the bridge was missing, and [they] said, 'That sounds pretty good, could you try it again?' So I tried singing it and then we put it together. 🐥 That's what happened, and they ended up using my melody, which I was really grateful for."

DIPLO about Jimin 🐥 & ‘into the sun’ composition 😭 DIPLO: ‘maybe one of the moments that sticks out for me is when we made ‘Into the Sun’. I got there kind of late, and it was Tyler Johnson playing guitar, and it was just Jimin (…) Tayler was playing this guitar line, and then Jimin was just singing with this weird distortion on. And we were just like, this is perfect!. This is kind of like a hook!. And then we just tracked that, and then me and Tezoo and Kaien and Jimin and V kind of worked on this idea .. like, what can this song be about? And then that's probably the fastest song to happen. It was like in like 20 minutes.’

🐿️: Time for the last song. 🐨: V had a big part in it. 🐿️: V, tell us about it. 🐻: It is the final song of this album. 🐥: But V was against it though. 🐹: But you wrote it! 🐻: I did write it, but I didn't know if it fit the album. I had to be objective. 🐨: It fits so well! 🐻: There were so many great songs the members wrote too. What is that? (gestures to the others) 🐥: There were so many great songs, so I didn't know why it had to be this song. This song is so beautiful, it makes me think of the seven of us running in the sunset. 🐹: It’s like the song that plays at the end of an anime. 🐥: I was next to V while he worked on it, and he did so well. 🐱: He took a big part in it. I was there during the recording, and V was so emotional during the recording, he lost his voice. (imitates V’s strained voice) "I'm finished!" 🐿️: (Laughs) Don’t be nervous!

Ryan Tedder recently spoke about working with Jimin and praised Be Mine in an interview in China. “I listen to some Asian music. I’ve worked with a lot of K-pop artists. I produced for Blackpink, BTS, Jimin, and TWICE.” When asked which song he’s most proud of, he said: “I’d say I did a song with Jimin last year that did really well. It was a big K-pop hit called Be Mine. I wrote the song pretty quickly, and six months later they told me it was coming out as the second single. I had no idea what to expect. Then I checked the Korean chart and it was No. 2. It was shocking how fast it happened. I’m really proud of how well that song has done.” #JIMIN

About “Hooligan”, j-hope told Rolling Stone “Jungkook was the one who was in charge of the song. He was working on “Hooligan” right when I arrived at the session. He asked me to listen to it. So I did, and like you said, the vocal parts and rap parts were all so well done.” Jungkook said “And for singers — it was totally a song for rappers. We didn’t even have to decide on the vocal parts because there were exactly four sections.”

#SEONGHWA about Hongjoong’s new single ‘ENOuGH’ and wishing he’s produce for him again! ⭐️: Ah, of course I listened to Hongjoong’s song, obviously I did. I was wondering, when did he film something so cool? I knew he was working on something, but seeing it come out this amazing… well, everything he does is cool but still, it’s truly incredible. Someday, like with Skin… I hope he’ll produce a song for me too. If Hongjoong made a song like Skin, it would be surprising/fascinating? I think it would

Into the Sun - Track 14 on which Taehyung worked on! 🐿️It’s the last song 🐨One of my favorites! 🐨V had a big part in it. V ssi Pleas introduce it! 🐿️V, tell us about it 🐯This song happened to become the last song of the album. 🐰Last song outro 🐱Like an outro 🐥But what’s funny about it is that Taehyung ssi was against this song. 🐨it’s a song you wrote but why were you against? 🐯no it’s not like that, it’s true that I wrote the song, but even then, I was thinking “does it fit in the album?” One has to look at it objectively, so~ 🐨🐰🐿️no but it really suited (the album) well. 🐯even of not that, even if it’s a great song, there were many other great songs written by the hyung’s, so I was just a bit.. eh.. eh 🐰what? What is that? 🐯bighit ~ 🐯There were so many great songs, so I was thinking why this song? 🐨there are many songs with strong sound, so in any case, this song sounds different so~ 🐯and so since members loved it so much, it was added. 🐨what I think is beautiful about this song is that it kind of makes me think of the seven of us running in the sunset. 🐹it’s a song that fits very well for an ending 🐨it’s like a song that comes up when an anime ends 🐯this song~ 🐥I was next to Taehyung when he worked on it, and it’s a very well made song by Taehyung 🐱He took a big part in it. I was there during the recording, and V was so emotional during the recording. Since he got so emotional, he got choked up with emotion. *imitates Taehyung* *all laugh*

AWWW 🥹🥹🥹🥹🫳🏻 💬: why did you choose “limbo” for this cover? 🐥: hello this is NI-KI. 🐥: it was about a year ago when i went to coachella, and the commute time was really long. it took about 40 minutes to get to the practice room and during that time i kept this song on repeat and listened to it continuously. 🐥: the coachella stage had a really big meaning for me, so to bring back those memories, i chose “limbo” the song i listened to the most back then
