BREAKING: Teen Arrested on Suspicion of Murder and Rape of 13-Year-Old Girl and Unrelated Rape of 16 Year Old Girl, West Yorkshire A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a 13-year-old girl at a property on Sheepridge Road, Huddersfield. Police were alerted by the ambulance service at 11:36pm on Monday, 11 August, after reports that the teenager was unresponsive. She was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead in the early hours of Tuesday morning, following what has been described locally as ‘horrific injuries’. The circumstances surrounding the girl’s death remain unexplained, and police are conducting ongoing enquiries to establish the full details of the incident. A 16-year-old boy from Huddersfield has been arrested on suspicion of murder and rape in connection with the case. He remains in custody as investigations continue. The teenager has also been arrested on suspicion of raping a 16-year-old girl in an unrelated incident elsewhere in Kirklees. Authorities have confirmed that the two cases are not connected. West Yorkshire Police are continuing their investigations into both matters.
