The bottles I have hope for, unlike the darn XPS crumbs. Research points toward there being hope that eventually it will be decomposed in the ecosystem, but everything bacteria have managed to far is too slow. So the stuff gets eaten by marine life instead.

Each cleanup will vary in length. There are a variety of factors that play into how often we need to go back, but the rainy season plays a huge part in this. During the rainy season, more and more waste makes its way into rivers and then eventually the ocean.
