Remembering 2019 when El-Rufai stood as Yahaya Bello’s guarantor and even knelt down publicly, calling on voters to forgive Yahaya Bello. He said Bello was better than all past PDP govs combined. I wonder what El-Rufai would be thinking now that Bello is wanted for N84bn fraud

Not only El Rufai. Aisha Buhari told the crowd to forgive his godson. He has repented. I knew dollars exchanged hands b4 she came to that venue. These people are just after their interest.

What would he be thinking like how? El Rufai too used US$350 million loan to do various consultancies, not a single block was moulded.

He's moved on to next project. There are no consequences nor self reproach so they just move on.

El-Rufai’s inability to manage his anger made everything worse for him. I saw a comment on a video I posted previously about El-Rufai where some people said Asiwaju betrayed El-Rufai. I don’t think Asiwaju betrayed El-Rufai because Asiwaju never promised him any ministerial appointment, and El-Rufai never negotiated for one. Immediately after the election, El-Rufai went to Abuja to meet with Asiwaju. He said that if Asiwaju wanted to compensate him for what he did, he should give him the speakership, and Asiwaju agreed. El-Rufai then name-dropped Abbas, and he was given the Speaker position. Everything else given to his camp was at Asiwaju’s discretion, not part of what they bargained for. In 2015, when Asiwaju worked tirelessly for Buhari to win the election, he didn’t get anything from the government, no Senate President position, no Deputy Speaker and nothing. All the names Asiwaju put forward from the South West were ignored by Buhari and his people, while others Asiwaju never mentioned were given juicy positions. El-Rufai was given the Speakership of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by proxy. What more did he want? Asiwaju is never a coward. If he didn’t include El-Rufai’s name in his ministerial portfolio, what could El-Rufai do? Absolutely nothing. The same pattern played out with the tax reform issue as it did with El-Rufai’s issues with Asiwaju. When people from the Vice President’s camp told Asiwaju to withdraw the bill for more consultation, Asiwaju said no and let the National Assembly decide. El-Rufai was the brain behind a lot of things that fell apart during Obasanjo’s tenure, because some people understood his character and stopped him ahead of time under Obasanjo.

Confirmed: Southern Kaduna Elites Are The Problem Of Their People I just stumbled on this old video of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai. What Mallam said in the video about Southern Kaduna elites perfectly tracks with what I said during my Trust TV interview on Monday night and what I wrote in "MY EL-RUFAI STORY’'. Below Is An Extract. "When you throw a deeply entrenched and very toxic political culture characterized by elites who exploit their people and use them as political and economic pawns, or better put, as cannon fodder, you might begin to understand why El-Rufai is hated with passion by a significant proportion (to avoid overgeneralization) of Southern Kaduna Christians. To validate my point, on one occasion, as part of my due diligence, I had a conversation with a well-educated and politically exposed senior citizen - a very vicious and prolific public critic of El-Rufai from Southern Kaduna right in my office. At a point in our conversation, he said (or rather confessed) to me that El-Rufai really did not do anything wrong. He said that the problem he had with El-Rufai was that he (El-Rufai) did not do anything for him as Governor. He ended by saying; ''tell Nasir that I am willing to work with him now". I won't mention his name here out of decency and respect, but I am sure that he will read this. If he denies it, I will mention his name and bring proof. You can extrapolate and multiply that amongst many other Southern Kaduna elites and leaders, and a clear and scary picture will emerge. Conclusion My findings conclusively show that, El-rufai was essentially a victim and an inheritor of decades of entrenched and normalized hatred, intolerance, violence, an aggravated entitlement mentality and indiscipline, as well as a system that had been configured, long before he arrived on the scene, to run on blackmail, self-deceit, victim mentality, rent seeking, and appeasement. Unfortunately, El-Rufai went in with a borders-blind reformist mindset, intent on bringing about change and making a difference, but in so doing, he upset the apple cart. Instead of El-Rufai continuing with the tradition and culture of keeping a blind eye, appeasement and settlement of the elites who in turn 'settled' their people with peanuts and fed them with what they wanted them to hear, including who to hate and who to love, such that thus deceived and compromised, they suppressed the problems which had been with them for ages, including insecurity, killings and deaths, he went to deliver the dividends of democracy directly to the people. That was part of El-Rufai’s sins against Southern Kaduna people. Please, fact check me." (Source: MY EL-RUFAI STORY’' By Uche Diala - March 22nd 2026). #TimeShallVindicateTheJust #EyesOnTheBall
