Remembering DeAndre McCullough on what would have been his 49th birthday. Born 5/23/77 in Baltimore, his story as a 15 year old drug dealer was told by David Simon & Ed Burns in the book ‘The Corner.’ This clip is from a 1997 episode of Nightline.

Watched this again this weekend, he played Bro. Mouzone's lookout in The Wire didn't he?

The Wire was the last time we will see that caliber of show

Story sad af man crazy is life would be so different if Gary never fell

I met him a couple times, real cool dude r.i.p🙏🏼

Played the lookout for Brother Mouzone Rest In Power G! 🙏🏾 🕊️ 🌺

The Wire had the perfect cast, production, the set up was perfect to run every award show, but @HBO dropped the ball, subsequently @TheEmmys left it on the vine to dry up,shame shame

“Reform Lamar Reform”

I've seen this piece before, and I don't really care for the tone of it. I feel like it paints him as though he's less than or broken and more of a sociology experiment for ignorant people. Plenty of people have lived this life and made something of themselves. Let's be real.

Shame shame shame shame on @TheEmmys

🙏🏾

We are losing the cast everyday ,so sad

His story is very sad 😔

Rip DeAndre

🕊🙏🏾✊🏿

I wish I could watch it somewhere!
