When Kishore Kumar sings for Rajesh khanna it's a different ball game altogether. That song becomes extra special. Like this song from Anurodh directed by Shakti Samanta. A very different kind of music by LP. Almost RD Burmanish. This was the only film directed by Shakti Samanta and starring Rajesh Khanna that did not have music by a Burman. Lyrics has to be AB. The movie had some excellent songs. But unfortunately did not do well. Simple was a misfit from the word Go. Bihar: In Jhagarua village of Jamalpur police station area in Darbhanga district, 65-year-old Abdul Salam was beaten to death with an iron rod. A dispute arose in the village over the alleged theft of bricks belonging to Manish Kumar Ram. During this, Manish Kumar Ram’s mother, Vimla Devi, was using abusive language and making communal remarks. At the same time, Abdul Salam was passing by. Abdul Salam objected to the abusive language and communal remarks. After this, Manish Kumar Ram, his brother Roshan Kumar Ram, their mother Vimla Devi, and others attacked him with an iron rod. He suffered serious injuries to his head and fell to the ground on the spot. Local people took him in an injured condition to the Kiratpur Community Health Center, where doctors declared him dead.
