When it comes to RD it is not about fav songs, it is about fav albums, Teesri Manzil, 1942 - A Love Story, Caravan, Yaadon Ki Baarat, Kati Patang, Satte Pe Satta, etc. This documentary is must watch

There were composers before Pancham who changed the sound of music too. He in fact, had it all laid out before him and just added his bit. Not too often do you people credit the others. It is always a Pancham fixation, head to toe.

I am terribly saddened to hear of the passing of neo-soul Grammy Award-winning music superstar D’Angelo. My friend Rufus Mauluka first introduced me to his music in the 1990s when I was a university student in London, and I immediately fell in love with his sound. My favourite songs from his repertoire were Brown Sugar and his soulful remake of Smokey Robinson’s 1979 classic Cruisin’. His music, known as neo-soul, beautifully blended R&B, jazz, and hip-hop, creating a timeless sound that defined an era and influenced a generation of artists. May his soul rest in eternal peace. His music will live on forever, he was truly a once-in-a-generation talent.
