I have to say Sid was an absolutely horrible human with absolutely no talent whatsoever who should never have been anywhere near a great band like the Pistols

What a wonderful song. Attitude, power, and very underrated natural talent. There are probably 20 songs from the heyday of punk which are genuinely great, this is one of them.

Seeing a lot of these tributes to Sid, let’s not lose sight that he was arrested for brutally killing his girlfriend while strung out on drugs.

To all those mewling about what a terrible bass player and person Sid was, shut the fuck up. No one cares. RIP Sid. Troubled soul. Punk legend.
