Remembering Sir Bobby Robson, who would have turned 92 today An absolute gentleman & the nicest man in football, sorely missed but never forgotten This moment between Gazza & Robson at #Italia90 always brings a tear to my eye - Legend

He was such a gentleman. He was so good with Gazza. Such a shame that it turned out to be Gazza's only World Cup, but nobody could have known that back then 😪. Sir Bobby will always be remembered and he is missed very much indeed.

👊

‘this is your first’ he never played another world cup game

So sad

Hounded out of England, Newcastle and imo Barcelona and Porto jobs yet never had a bad word to say about any of them. Shows the quality of the man 👍 and I’m Scottish

Two Geordie legends

I read in the 'Admiral' book that it was Bobby who agreed to have a brown away kit for Ipswich but changed his mind after Admiral had ordered the fabric. They eventually managed to off-load it to Jimmy Hill's Coventry in a cut-price deal.

@80s90sfootball He was one of the best

Definitely 👊
