One of my favourite film scenes of all time. It just has the ability to lift your mood. Not funny ha ha out loud, but it just makes you smile every time. Oliver Hardy may have had bulk, but he also had some grace.

There was a story in 1980s Dublin that he was Clint Eastwood’s father. I think that’s called a slow news day now.

@arthistorynews My brother’s school had regular Saturday showings of Laurel and Hardy films. My school did not! (1960s)
