Die hard Yankees fan here. But Wakefield was a true great. May he rest in peace. He was one of the first guys my Dad always traded for in triple play 99.

A player that as not listed was Larry Foster. Pitched in 1 game in September 1963 for the Detroit Tigers vs the Twins. Pitched 3 innings in his only MLB game. Good decent man became a Pastor. He lived a block from me as I was a classmate of his oldest son. RIP Larry.

@MLB Thanks for making me cry, again. I knew what was coming. He was my favorite player in the ‘60. I remember watching games with my Dad, who told me, “They call him ‘The Human Vacuum Cleaner,’ because nothing gets by him.” 💔
