Reminder. In game 3, Ref #9 Dan O'Rourke (left) clearly signals Ekblad for holding, the correct call. But that call is wiped out and inexplicably, Lauko is sent to box for goaltender interference by ref #8 Francois St. Laurent. The fix was in.

I’m usually not one to complain but Jake Diebler was trying to call timeout on the game-altering possession. The ref….literally right next to him….was either blind, deaf, or cheating. People will dog Diebler for this loss but he got screwed here by the ref not doing his job.

Here's Riq's second defensive pass interference. He says this was a bad call given that he got his head around to locate the ball. But says, "Hey, it’s up to the ref at that point. Other than that, we still won, I’m happy. On to the next game.”

*THIS IS BRUTAL TO WATCH * Luke Kennard here is penalized for catching an elbow jab strike to the chest and for not simply moving out of SGA’s way. But the best part is watching the ref not even raise his hand for the call until he realizes that SGA’s shot rolls off the rim. BLATANT & INEXPLICABLE!

Here's that Conklin play at the end. You can see Saleh up top, standing 4 yards to our left from the ref. The end gets cut off, but you can see the ref start to run downfield toward the play and Saleh chasing behind him. I think the ref couldn't hear/see Saleh. Not great on the ref's part at all (he should be assuming Saleh wants to call it there and be more prepared for it: also how can you not hear him?) but why is Saleh not standing right next to the ref? Should be hovering over the man. Could've made this a whole lot easier To me this is a mix of both subpar officiating and a coaching mistake. Definitely not a great job by the ref, but also slightly on Saleh for making this harder by standing 4 yards away from the ref instead of right next to him. IMO But still, even at the very end of this clip there's ~17-16 seconds left. I find it very hard to believe Saleh didn't get the timeout in until 13 seconds. I say 80% bad officiating, 20% Saleh

This is CRAZY. Ref blows his whistle and pulls yellow card. Uruguay stops the ball and tries a quick restart, which is fine if not a yellow. BUT THEN, ref signals for advantage and play on, which is not even close to what happened and ignoring handball. #CopaAmerica #USMNT

•The false start call on John Michael Schmitz. •The non-call for pass interference to Wan’Dale Robinson. •The non-call for pass interference on the final play of the game in the end zone. I’m not one to blame officials for losing games, but when it’s obvious, sometimes, it does need to be pointed out. Like the non-pass interference call to Darren Waller in the Week 6 game vs the Bills that ended the game. That was as blatantly bad as it got. In the Giants 33-25 loss yesterday to the Eagles, the officials were pretty bad to where several non-calls were that obvious. “I think there were some flags that could have been thrown, but that is not our place. That is not fair. If it’s a call, call it. It shouldn’t be a last-play mentality. If it’s a call, and if it’s blatant, then it should be called. It should be honored like it is the first play of the game.”- Giants QB Tyrod Taylor. “I’d say, any official questions, you can ask those guys.”- Giants head coach Brian Daboll, who clearly looked angry when he entered the press conference room, probably knew he’d get a massive fine if he said what he wanted to, so he kept it simple.

This is fascinating. Luka didn't get a call on one of those debatable quick pull ups from midrange. He said something VERY quickly at the ref before sprinting away. Ref waited for the Nuggets to score before then giving Luka a tech. It was like a hockey penalty
