It’s an easy dopamine hit when it all gets so overwhelming, but in the end, it’s counter productive. Thanks for the check

This is what I’ve been saying for the last few years. The Trump memes have to stop. There’s nothing funny about this incredibly dangerous person. It diminishes the seriousness of our current situation.

"when people talked about media literacy, they meant reading comprehension. what a self-own." you're absolutely right.

Um, political cartoons and drawing have been part of politics for a while now.

Meme-ifying politics also helps normalize it. It’s why I hate when people on the Left are like “Trump did X & that’s not America First” bc it helps normalize Nazi & KKK rhetoric.

I have thought about this constantly since the first time I saw you post it. constantly.

Well said, thank you

For many—especially autistic folks—memes, visuals, and scripting are valid and important ways we communicate, not less than typical literacy. We need both accessible communication and efforts to address literacy challenges. Dismissing memes further excludes & ableism too? 💔🖖

I always think about this, your so right about the effect this has had. everything is a fuckn joke now “doge” “big beautiful bill”

@HilarieAshton we can laugh to keep from crying. the well-read and educated know this already.

The racist meme is (among many other things) a reminder, as if anyone needed it, that Trump's late-night posting-spree behavior on social media is not normal or healthy.
