Meme-ifying politics also helps normalize it. It’s why I hate when people on the Left are like “Trump did X & that’s not America First” bc it helps normalize Nazi & KKK rhetoric.

For many—especially autistic folks—memes, visuals, and scripting are valid and important ways we communicate, not less than typical literacy. We need both accessible communication and efforts to address literacy challenges. Dismissing memes further excludes & ableism too? 💔🖖
