sports reporter from Jax here. we absolutely got the feeling when the city & Jaguars were discussing the stadium renovations that they were scared to death that this game would be home in home. they felt they may never get the game back in Jax if that happened. they were thrilled with the Atlanta/Tampa decision. I’ll be a today’s game🤟🏼

I used to sell beer as a side gig at Jags games in college at JU at that stadium. It has so much potential being right there on the St. Johns River. The problem is Jacksonville is in Jacksonville.

Not a fan of either school, but I think they should do a three year rotation of Athens-Gainesville-Jax

Growing up with Texas/OU I never realized there was a different way to split a stadium. I always learn something from these videos, but this was unexpected.

Jacksonville is such a huge part of the tradition for this game. If you take that away does this become just another game?

It’s all on Sankey’s shoulders. He’s a grifter.

Maybe a temporary home and home but I don't think it'll ever go to home and home. Kirby has been trying for the last 10 years and he gets pretty much anything he wants from Josh Brooks (as he should). It's just too much money

I don't recall when they changed it but they used to split the stadium into quarters, 50 to the middle of the end zones. That was even better because you got the fans cheering back and forth across the stadium.

Why the fuck would we want to play this game on campus??? Yall seem to think the atmosphere will follow no matter where it’s played. No the game is special because it’s not on campus. If it’s on campus, it’s just another rivalry game. And also, who wants to play in the swamp???

Reminder: you dont count

When the entire sport is about the money, what happens when the money eventually goes away?

It is all about money Brooks. That train has left the station

@TheFilmGuyFam Why was Kirby scared to play outdoors

Newsflash. It’s always been about the money. Tampa/Atlanta deal is so lucrative (prob includes rooms/meals/other) the two-year guarantee exceeds what each team would make in a home-and-home agreement.

Well said. I agree

Well said. Tack on going between the Hedges & The Swamp are legit venues for road opponents. The rest of the SEC alone would be more than ok to see a crowd impact this game, provide an upset scenario in yrs. Not this neutral site, 5 o’clock anywhere passive environment.

Home and Home >>>>>> Neutral field bs

Amen!!

Excellent

Preach!

Should definitely be a home/home game. It’s BS

Lose some weight it's hard to take you seriously looking like such a slug
