so sad how the app fell apart :/ amie was my #1 app for quite a while

what makes you say "it fell apart"

i'd say the complete shift to AI driven stuff. I'm sure it brought you and the team a lot of money (props for that!), but it was such a huge 180 IMO, where it lost the "Amie" feel. So in essence, what made Amie so popular was totally abandoned (the beautiful website, mac app, ios app)

AI is the only thing that matters software-wise.

tbh i think it's a very specific problem, not strongly enough needed on regular iphones -- most apps wouldn't interact much together. but it'd be very cool with Apple's productivity apps, eg reminders already supports dnd to calendar

Yeah, showing video instead of floating above everything, productivity apps with multiple tools like in your use case (from both Apple and an API for others). Technically even X is doing something similar now with their web views
