remote signal unlocked 👁️⃤ ledger's agent kit only talks to your device over usb-c got it working over bluetooth — signed a real usdc transfer on base with the ledger sitting across the desk, no cable here's how 🧵

2/9 — why my desk runs a voice-commanded ai droid: wake word on-device, voice over lan, servos — everything wireless. except the ledger. every tx meant walking over and plugging in usb-c like it's 2019. so the cable had to go. ⚠️ this is NOT a ledger feature. nothing here is tested or approved by the ledger team — just a degen playing with the open-source cli for educational purposes. don't point experimental signer builds at a wallet holding real size.

3/9 — the agent kit, eli5 wallet-cli is ledger's cli built for ai agents: the agent discovers accounts, preps sends/swaps — and every transaction stops at the device screen for a human to physically approve. agent proposes. hardware disposes. npm version: usb only. but the bluetooth code exists… ledger agent kit:

4/9 — tomorrow's feature today BLE transport for wallet-cli lives in two unmerged PRs on ledger-live (#18437 + #18442). announced dlc, not released. so: clone ledger-live, git fetch origin pull/18442/head, checkout, build the PR branch yourself. open source means the release date is a suggestion.

5/9 — the build walls · wallet-cli compiles with bunli build → needs bun, outputs a 103mb standalone binary · the npm bin stub resolves ledgerhq/wallet-cli-darwin-arm64 — a package that only exists for published releases. the launcher needed rewriting to exec the local dist build · noble (the node BLE stack) is an optionalDependency — BLE is opt-in by design

6/9 — the base unlock first dry-run: currency not supported: base 💀 the cli hard-whitelists [bitcoin, ethereum, solana]. the evm coin module is ALREADY bundled — base just isn't on the guest list. one line in live-common-setup.ts, rebuild, and base sends clear-sign like a native.

7/9 — first scan wallet-cli devices over BLE found FOUR ledgers: my gen5… and three neighbors' devices, all broadcasting. (relax — pairing + physical approval mean nobody can do anything to them. but it's why you pin YOUR device by its stable ble id, not "first one found".)

8/9 — wired into the agent end to end now: voice command → intent parser → guardrails (contact whitelist, amount cap, one in flight) → wallet-cli send base-1 --device <ble-id> → the gen5 lights up across the room → approve or reject in hand → agent announces the confirmed tx. bluetooth changed the wire. it didn't change the trust model: the model never touches keys.

9/9 — take it everything's public — the wallet-cli BLE build script, the base patch, the agent wiring: when ledger merges the PRs this becomes a plain npm update. until then: build it yourself, keep your keys in your hand 🫡

Hey @nabu_lines this looks fucking crazy lol Someone made a @Pumpfun for Saurons Eye and redirected all the fees to your @github.

wow nabu , incredible tech fr

much love captain, big respect to @iancr and the team. everyone’s racing to ship ai agents, ledger is building the part that actually matters, hardware anchored security

Another level up Lets see what’s next step Jarvis can order online for you from shops and you get delivery it 👀

@hopcofficial Cool stuff 👏👏👏

wireless is cool keeping the signing flow unchanged is even cooler no matter how smart the agent gets, the final confirmation still belongs to the human holding the Ledger that's the future 🔒

This unlocks real utility for voice AI agents in crypto by ditching the cable while the hardware approval step stays fully in control. Experimental build done right with full transparency and open source.

CA ?

got remote signals working Ledger’s agent kit talking over Bluetooth signing a real Base usdc transfer cable free Pure experimentation but shows how flexible 🔐

Wow this is really a good one from you guys

absolute banger next ironman shows up

this is actually sick 😂 wireless ledger for your voice ai droid? genius move. respect for the build and dropping the repo

This is next level when it comes to hardcore hardware security layer

Insane project! Do you have a Solana wallet we could send some support to?

means a lot, but no, im already doing my best to support the people building around me

Alright

This wireless bluetooth Ledger hack for your ai voice droid agent is absolutely brilliant

Good stuff Please share GitHub

This is some smooth flow of commands it's mind-blowing that we are currently witnessing this in real time

thank you bud, making complex things feel simple is the goal

this changes the game for ledger users

Wow, wireless Ledger signing via Bluetooth for AI agents—game changer! Thanks for the detailed guide and repo.

cool hack but also exactly the kind of workaround that makes security teams nervous, convenience and attack surface grew together here

this is actually huge

Plot twist: Jarvis sings too? 🤯😂

singing is easy, working on custom dance moves 😁

GM Nabu! Let’s connect 🤝🤝

cool idea, but BLE always adds extra security tradeoffs even if keys stay on device

Impressive wireless hack, but wireless = larger attack surface. USB-C limitation existed for security reasons, worth considering tradeoffs.

This is massive, running a wireless Base transaction straight from your desk changes the game for portable AI agent workflows 🙌

I think we have another meaning for “Locked In” 💀

This is a truly impressive practical achievement; the idea of wirelessly operating a hardware wallet is definitely worth paying attention to. 💡

the interesting part isn’t just removing the cable, it’s what remote signing changes about the UX boundary between an agent and the hardware. if the signer still keeps final authority, distance doesn’t have to mean less control.

That is crazy engineering

Remote Bluetooth Ledger signing while the device sits across the room?! This is next-level. Agent proposes, hardware disposes. Wireless but still fully secure. Insane build.

SO COOL

What’s next? Multi-device support or more chains?

I saw it and it's actually really funny🤗
