this episode is my fav thing to come out of apc an episode on rens dark past is a genius idea and also i love the fact that ren makes all of these really good faces in this one shot is mind blowing

I remember when everybody thought this was the worst thing that happened in the art industry. Good times

Favorite episode of the cartoon reviewers from 2010s

As garbage as APC is, it’s really interesting to see the quality of animation go from this to John’s last work (Cans Without Labels) Animation wise this looks great, Cans without labels looks downright terrible though

"HEY MISTER, YA WANNA HEAR SOME SICK STORIES ABOUT MAH TWISTED YOUTH?!"

I know folks hate APC (for good reason) but I will admit I like a few things in it. That "I'M A HORSE" has always stuck with me.

That ending was very off-guard but yet so badass on how wild the animation on the fight scene is - especially with Ren performing a brutal pistol-whipping on Mr. Horse. Can imagine what it could've been if the episode was on Nickelodeon as planned.

I laughed so hard at that during its initial broadcast I got a sore throat and maybe soiled myself a little
