This season of American Idol gave me so much hope for our country. The winner, Hannah Harper, is a young mom who sang worship music and originals about the struggles of motherhood. The runner-up, Jordan McCullough, is a worship director at Zeal Church in the Nashville area who began singing in church as a child. America is openly embracing our Christian roots, and I love to see it.

Stop using the phrase “CHURCH HURT.” The phrase “Church Hurt” it implies THE CHURCH wronged you. THE BRIDE OF CHRIST. If I were to ask you to write a list of all the names of the people in the Church that sinned against you - what you’ll find is that ‘THE CHURCH’ didn’t hurt you… a small number of people did. This term “Church Hurt” implies that there is something categorically wrong with God’s design so now it isn’t just an attack on the Church - but on God Himself. Don’t attribute a brother or sister’s sin against you with God’s design for His people. Don’t attribute their sin to the Bride of Christ. DON’T LET WHAT A FEW PEOPLE DID TO YOU, ROB YOU OF WHAT JESUS DIED FOR.

This is Christianity!!!! If you talk, idiots will ask if the church is Government. This was exactly what the early church in Acts was doing. The church cannot be waiting on Government while making fruitless prayer. The financial solution is in the offerings collected. Other solutions will come from the members of the church that have, to the members of the church in need. If you like continue going to a church that pastor pockets all the money and asks you to keep praying when the solution is right in your front

God will not send Jesus Christ back to this old troubled world, to take the church out of the world, until the world is purged out of the church! The church of the latter rain will be restored to divine unity, holiness, and love, just like Christ's first church of the early rain of Pentecostal power as recorded in Acts chapters 1 - 15. The Lord wouldn't want to return for the church of today...No way! Not until there is a restoration of divine love and holiness, which begins with repentance! The church must repent of its idolatry, its love for pleasure more than for God, and it's lukewarmness.

Warning to new Christians looking for a church. Here are a few things to lookout for. Avoid the dens of vipers! If they have the LGBTQXYZ flag, or say Black Lives Matter… run the other direction! The gospel is very simple. We are all sinners in need of a savior. Jesus Christ came as God in human form, lived a perfect life and bore our sins on the cross. All we have to do is repent, ask for forgiveness, turn from our sin, and follow Jesus as Lord and Savior of our life. Getting baptized is an outward display of that salvation. Then spend the rest of your life learning more about Him and following his direction. Any church that tells you to keep on sinning, or changes the definition of what the Bible says sin is, is not a Christian church. It is a lie from the Devil.
