The government shouldn't be selling public land to private developers, so they can build unaffordable houses. The government needs to buy back land that's been bought up by greedy investors, and build council houses.

Thank you Zack Polanski, for building on my work on rent controls. The government’s refusal to even consider limiting rent increases means fortunes are poured straight into landlords’ pockets. Rent controls would put purchasing power back in the pockets of ordinary people instead
