Landlord still had to pay the mortgage, taxes, insurance, etc.. Apparently there's a lot of people who have no idea how much it costs to own and maintain a home.

Where would she live if there weren't landlords? Somebody has to build the properties and UPKEEP the properties and provide utilities, etc. How do THEY make a living if they don't get paid back for all that? Stupid woman-they all want something handed to them for FREE.

Build a lean too. Use a tent. Rent a room. If that’s all you can afford then work harder.

Basically, the reason everything is so high is because people did not want to pay rent during the pandemic. A lot of those people had to raise their prices on rent to catch up with what they were behind on due to people not paying. So, it is an issue that comes full circle.

I saw a woman on Facebook the other day where I live she had posted she got evicted and did anybody have a tent she could have, she was going to trade her bicycle for a tent. A nice woman Saw it and took her and bought her a tent and a sleeping bag and some things to go in her tent so she has a place to stay now and she didn't have to get rid of her bicycle. She could always live in a tent. Nobody owes her a house that they paid for just because she thinks it's a human right.

Shelter ≠ apartment.

If she didn't have a landlord she would be sleeping on the streets but okay.

There are caves . Fire provides light heat and a source to cook food. The basics to survive. Everything else is just a luxury.

I owned some very nice rentals at one time. 5years of that was enough dealing her type nonsense. Sold them and would never do it again.

Isn't there still a lot of undeveloped land in the Sahara that nobody wants? Or perhaps some land in Antarctica... I heard of a place called slab city in the Sonoran desert she could probably build her shelter.
