Renting Videos at Blockbuster (1993

@GiancarloSopo I miss these times. My heart aches.

Much better feeling, same goes for music shops vs streaming apps- we have lost the feeling of acquiring with a buildup; far too passive and disposable nowadays. Sad. Instant gratification = lack of brain engagement.

That was a good time and I miss it. Streaming movies does not have the same appeal or joy.

@Ty_Yo24 over glamorized experience

Bring it back!

Even the mom and pop video stores back in the day were cool.

Miss that

Those were the days 🥺

You have patience

I've seen this raw footage before, but I'm curious what it was used for. News story or documentary maybe. That timecode in the bottom indicates it was a screener copy for a producer or whoever.

This wasn't even that long ago right?....... Right?

Do not understand the nostalgia for this. Every aspect of it was a pain.

A different world

This brings back so many memories as a kid. I ❤️ going to Blockbuster!!!

So strange, all of them look the same.
