Not to mention the repeated efforts to take the wealth/power Blacks were able to build-- razing Black towns (Tulsa, Rosewood), closing HBCU medical schools, redlining, "urban renewal"/highway construction, siting polluting industries near Black neighborhoods, gentrification, etc.

The Kerner Commission found: “white society is deeply implicated in the ghetto. White institutions created it, white institutions maintain it, and white society condones it." Yet in 2023 he pretends not to know this. It reads like it was released recently.

Wait--did Rep Byron Donalds just tell Bowman the reason fewer black people have wealth is their lack of talent and ability? If he won't acknowledge systemic racism, is he going to blame WHO THEY ARE for the reason so many wealthy communities are white and poorer ones are not?😡

@Acyn Byron Donalds does not care about the plight of black Americans. Like all of the modern day GOP, he is only concerned about his own personal wealth.

The rights arguments are literally the most disingenuous arguments for every single thing they argue for. It’s beyond parody at this point, and the idea we put up with it & allow it is utterly insane.
