I was surprised that they made that happen. We were able to have a meeting with him." Burlison said the group questioned Pais and other personnel about whether any of the patented technologies had ever been physically tested. "They admitted that one of them had been," he said. "I believe it was the anti-gravitic one, but they weren't able to get any definitive results." According to Burlison, Pais maintained that the device had not been constructed according to his original specifications. "I'm not putting words in his mouth, but I picked up that, had they built it exactly the way he designed it, they probably would have had a more definitive result," Burlison said. Because the test was considered inconclusive, Burlison was told the project was not taken any further. He also suggested that Pais had since been moved into a different role and appeared extremely reluctant to speak publicly.
