I believe @elonmusk was describing how Social Security is (ponzi scheme), not how or what he wants it to be. This seems like an important distinction, in all earnest.

This is the same old playbook they have been running for the past 60 years. Every time Republicans are in control Dems say they are going to take away Social Security. I remember an ad from years ago where they had granny in a wheelchair pushing over a cliff. It’s just tired and pathetic.

DOGE did not eliminate phone customer service. They addressed rampant fraud be requiring changes to the account for deposits to be done in person to protect seniors from scammers. Customer service at any government office has always been abominally slow. This has not changed.
