Jackson condemned the severe medicine shortages caused by the blockade, as well as the lack of fuel Cuban hospitals faced, which has forced doctors to use flashlights on their phones to perform surgery. The press conference was organized by National Nurses United, the country’s largest union of registered nurses.

Jonathan Jackson of Illinois cites lowering the flags in DC to half mast for Charlie as part of the “toxic environment” of DC: "There's a very toxic climate in Washington, D.C., the same Washington, D.C. that would lower the flag for Charlie Kirk, that says the 1964 Civil Rights Act was a mistake." This ignorant fool knows NOTHING about what Charlie actually believed. Charlie said the INTENT of the Civil Rights Act was NOBLE, but the execution of it was wrong. Why? Because it created a giant extra-constitutional bureaucratic leviathan that has been abused, for example, to justify men in women’s bathrooms and locker rooms. Rep. Jackson is Exhibit A of the REAL problem with toxic Washington. Ignorant politicians spend more time on social media algorithms designed to lie to them and confirm their biases rather than getting the truth.
