Right now, we need people in Congress who will fight back against the dysfunction in D.C. and deliver for the people of Michigan. Kristen McDonald Rivet has shown she’ll stand up for Michigan families, fight to lower costs, create Michigan jobs, protect access to health care, and more. Let’s send her back to Congress this November and keep her seat blue.

What happens in Washington has real impacts in Michigan. And the 140 workers who lost their jobs at SK Siltron in Monitor Township are feeling that pain firsthand. Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet and I visited the area this week to highlight those workers and why we have to keep fighting for Michigan manufacturing.

Rep. Bynum is right. We need to listen to what the people are saying and fight for their desires. Promise to America is about fighting for you and your values. Common sense. An economy that works for all. And we’re doing this by rejecting extremism on both ends of the spectrum.

Kristen McDonald Rivet: “You don’t have to be hugely politically plugged in to know people are really uncomfortable with data centers. They’re going into communities with no input. People don’t know much about them and at the same time when people are struggling to buy their groceries. It’s one of those issues that should be bipartisan because it’s resounding across the country that people want limits on this”

Kristen McDonald Rivet: “Michigan is not just a purple state, but a state that wants to see leaders that are gonna take us some place to make things better for families. Michigan right now has been hit harder on these tariffs than any other place, it’s over $5K per household. There’s a lot on the Democratic ticket from Abdul on down, we’ve got people who are committed to speaking to that and putting an agenda forward for that”

🚨 WATCH: Democrats continue gaslighting Minnesotans about rampant fraud. Rep. McDonald: What are we doing to prevent and stop the fraud? Democrat Co-Chair: “Inspector General, I believe he’s talking about the alleged fraud.” Rep. McDonald: “No ma’am. I wasn’t talking about ‘alleged’ fraud. I did not say the word ‘alleged.’” They’re still pretending this is all made up. Unbelievable.

Kristen McDonald Rivet: “People are sick and tired of the corruption, they’re tired of people lying to them and all of that happening while we’re seeing gas prices go through the roof, diesel prices. In my area, we’re over $7 a gallon. These are really big problems the American people need us to focus on. We actually have legislation that has bipartisan support to fix some of this stuff and the speaker won’t keep us in session and it’s infuriating”

The left is out of control. You've gotta see this - Democrats are literally gaslighting people in Minnesota about rampant fraud. Rep. McDonald: What are we doing to prevent and stop the fraud? Democrat Co-Chair: “Inspector General, I believe he’s talking about the alleged fraud.” Rep. McDonald: “No ma’am. I wasn’t talking about ‘alleged’ fraud. I did not say the word ‘alleged.’” These people are literally pretending it's made up. REPOST for widespread exposure! #thinblueline #lawenforcement

Even as we seek to deepen cooperation where our interests align, the U.S. is clear-eyed about the challenges posed by China and about our competing visions for the future. America will always defend our core interests and values.
