@brikeilarcnn is a military/vet spouse and in an organization that supports them, so she knows what she's talking about. Also, "dozens" is at least 24, so idk where this guy gets 18 from. Simple math. Perhaps he is one of the unqualified Federal employees that needs to go!

Was watching this live. Glad she stood up to him. And if I’m not mistaken, isn’t she a military spouse herself. I think she would know about this topic pretty well

Come on @RepPatFallon, you’re really going to try to pick a fight with CNN’s anchor @brikeilarcnn about military wives/spouses? That attempt to take a disrespectful swipe was quite the backfire. How’s that medicine taste?

Fallon picked the wrong anchor to try to gaslight. Brianna knows her stuff and her husband is recently retired career military.

He was very condescending and didn't know how to answer or handle pushback.

She works for CNN, I don’t believe a thing she says. I worked for over 45 years, never got paid for working from home. US tax payers don’t want to be paying for this sh*t

I work for a team that mainly works from home. I have deadlines to complete my work, and do go to the office a few times a week. If we all were to go to the office there would not be the desk space to work.

President Trump “joins” Jimmy Fallon to talk about the government shutdown. This late-night bit was actually mildly funny — and that alone is a miracle. FALLON: “The government shutdown is now the longest shutdown in U.S. history. It’s a big deal. So, President Trump has actually agreed to join us right now for an interview about it. Thank you for being here, Mr. President. Remind me, how long has the shutdown been going on?” TRUMP: “36 days.” FALLON: “And how many times have you gone golfing during that time?” TRUMP: “36 times.” FALLON: “Okay. Well, things are at a standstill. Democrats want health care funding. What do Republicans want?” TRUMP: “A world-class ballroom.” FALLON: “Right, right. Your ballroom. Are you planning to add anything else to the White House?” TRUMP: “Burger King, Wendy’s, and McDonald’s.” FALLON: “Okay, very good. Well, the shutdown has been a mess. Who’s handling TSA screens and air traffic control?” TRUMP: “Don Jr. (long pause) and Eric.” FALLON: “Now, I just read that your approval rating is at an all-time low. How do you plan to get it back up again?” TRUMP: “Viagra?” FALLON: “All right. Well, that won’t help. But your numbers have really dropped among young people. What can you say to win them back?” TRUMP: “6, 7.” FALLON: “Nice try. Let’s talk about yesterday’s elections. What do you think of New York’s new mayor? His name is Zohran—” TRUMP: “Melania.” FALLON: “No. Let’s try that again. It’s Zohran—” TRUMP: “Mommy, Daddy.” FALLON: “No, no. One last time. It’s Zohran—” TRUMP: “Mar-a-Lago.” FALLON: “Okay, forget it. Last thing, when the shutdown ends and Congress turns the lights back on, what will you say if they try to release the Epstein files?” TRUMP: “No! Get those lights off! Off!” FALLON: “All right. Thank you for your time, sir. I appreciate that.”

REP FALLON: "In 2020, NPR branded Hunter Biden's laptop story a 'waste of time.' Do you know how many times NPR interviewed Adam Schiff about the Russia Collusion hoax?" NPR CEO: "Idk." REP FALLON: "25 times. How many times did NPR interview Chairman Comer about the Biden impeachment inquiry and the Biden family's illicit business dealings?" NPR CEO: "Idk." REP FALLON: "0 times. 25 to 0. Between June and November of 2023, PBS's News Hour used the term 'far-right' 162 times, and 'far-left' was only used 6 times. Do you find that troubling?" PBS CEO: "I want to see how they did that analysis." REP FALLON: "Media Research Center did the study. You either use the term 'far-right' or 'far-left.' That's a 96% to 4% skew. Did PBS cover the DNC and GOP conventions in 2024?" PBS CEO: "Yes, we did." REP FALLON: "72% of the coverage of the GOP convention was negative. 88% of the coverage of the DNC was positive. PBS's anchor described the Republican convention as 'outright racism' and 'echoing white supremacy.' Do you believe your reporters are non-biased at NPR?" NPR CEO: "I believe they work to be every day." REP FALLON: "The recent registration of your newsroom was 87 Democrats and 0 Republicans." NPR CEO: "I find that very concerning, sir." REP FALLON: "It shouldn't be surprising when their CEO says 'I'm so done with late-stage capitalism' or calls the POTUS a 'deranged racist sociopath' or says that 'America is addicted to white supremacy.'" REP FALLON: "Billions of taxpayer dollars have gone into both of your coffers over the last few decades, and I understand why Democrats are going to viciously and vehemently defend you all because you've become a propaganda wing of the Democratic Party."
