After going on a fact-free diatribe during a House Admin. Committee GOP hearing, Johnson appeared to illegally solicit campaign contributions: “My comment to the American people is vote, contribute through ActBlue, send money to your Democratic candidates. Make sure that Democrats win in November so we can stop this nonsense once and for all.”

NEW: Last night, we were with Congressman Rep. Jim Jordan & the GOP-led House Judiciary Committee as they prepare to have their first field hearing on the border crisis in Yuma, AZ today. No Democrats on the committee showed up. They are boycotting & calling it a political stunt. Jordan tells me he believes they’re staying away because Democrats’ policies triggered the crisis, while Rep Andy Biggs tells me the Democrats’ boycott sends a message of disrespect & hubris to the American public.

Steube reacted to Swalwell being accused of sleeping with numerous young interns and making them sign NDAs by calling for an ethics investigation. “That’s a violation of our ethical obligations.
