Kentucky was the best place for us to live this dream because there are very few regulations here. I remember we were in China when I got a call from the NSA and DSS DG to be informed that oil subsidy would be removed and there is no going back. We went into panic mode, and I sent a message to my colleague governors, and nobody wanted to hear that. I gathered my colleagues and decided to book an appointment with you to register our disagreement with the policy, but when the president invited us for dinner, we sat and listened to his vision for the country and at the end of his speech, we couldn't even bring up the topic. We didn't even know if he had gotten security reports about why we wanted to see him, but we couldn't bring up the issue. We went back to our room and decided to implement it. So we agreed to call State executive council meetings because we were expecting serious riots due to the removal of fuel subsidies. There were already bad government riots, but lo and behold, there were no riots. I think there the nation was shocked by the audacity of the president to implement that policy. Today, we benefit from that policy. In my own state, we have reduced our debt by 40%. Some states have also cleared its debts. - Governor Abdulrazaq of Kwara State (NGF Chairman) spoke yesterday on President Tinubu’s bold decision to remove fuel subsidy.

💔🇵🇸😭Dear friends, last night was horrible. It was the worst night so far. We were ordered to leave. But how could we leave? We can't bring the cats and where would we go? We heard people were killed when they left their house. We are terrified and no option is a good one. So we stayed. We don't dare to really go outside, just stay near our house. The Night Stalkers. 160th SOAR. Before I share everything, I want to say, we were super respectful while we were out there tonight and stayed out of their way. To our surprise, the spot where we parked, was exactly where they staged. They came right next to our vehicle and did not say a word to us. They saw that we were taking videos and allowed us to continue. We did not approach them as we did not want to distract from their mission.

Me and my mates caused this: We turned up at their wedding uninvited and started fighting with the guests and they had the cheek to tell us to leave because we were ruining their wedding when it was only a few of us and not everyone. Then they tried to lock the doors. But we held them open while more came in. We didn’t like the music either so we made the DJ to swerve the Motown and play some techno to suit us. It was an all inclusive bar and a free buffet so we stayed to the end even though we didn’t like it there. I just wanted to call the family out and tell you all how intolerant they were to us. I’ve never been made to feel so unwelcome. We had just as much of a right to be there as anyone else. It was a public building. They don’t own it. I’m sure you will all agree that the family were bang out of order. We only ruined their wedding the crying cnts. Horrible people.

Some people came to us and told us that the Bedouin tribal sheikhs and the Druze sheikhs had agreed that we would remain brothers and that no problems would arise. Then they returned to us in the evening and told us not to leave our homes and that no one would harm us. I stayed in my home because I was going to work the next day. My husband and child stayed with me. My husband is sick and needs a joint replacement, so we did not leave. But our neighbors left their homes and fled the area. The next day, the Druze militia returned to our area and installed heavy weapons on a nearby hill, despite their promise not to harm us. They then targeted families and civilians in the neighborhood with mortar shells. We were directly targeted for two hours despite our attempts to flee the area. Then the Hajri militia searched every house individually, armed with handguns and rifles. They asked us if we had money, phones, weapons, or identification. We told them we were civilians, didn't have any weapons, and didn't know how to use them. My husband, a civilian, didn't know how to use them. I told them there was only a sick man and my child, and we were all trying to take shelter in our house. They told me I was now a prisoner. They also captured my husband and covered his face with the shirt he was wearing. I told them we were neighbors from Amad, and yesterday you had promised us safety and that we wouldn't be targeted. Why are you doing this to us now? They told me no. Then they did the same thing to the rest of the houses in the area. After that, someone came to us and, by chance, he knew my husband before. He hid us in one of the houses, gave us water to drink, and allowed my child to use the bathroom. He was kind and respectful, while the rest were just a criminal gang. When you hear the advice "hire the best," this is what that looks like: "We had a candidate who came and interviewed. He was a junior at MIT and very very young. We gave him our interview and he did way better than almost any of the full-time candidates that we had ever talked to. So we said to him, what do you think about taking some time off of school and working with us and building out Devin? And he thought about it for a while, and he came back, and he said I'm down, I want to do it, but my parents really want me to graduate from school, and I'm just not sure there's a way to make it work. So we talked with him more to fully understand the situation, and then we flew to North Carolina, went straight from the airport to his parents' house, had dinner with him and his parents, and tried to understand, all right, what would it take to make this work? They said it sounds like a great opportunity, but we really want our son to be able to graduate. So we figured out a setup where he could work for us essentially full time, but then come in for his required classes, and do what he needed to do to get the diploma.
