President Trump's Special Envoy Steven Witkoff said there would be a new meeting between the US and Russia in Saudi Arabia to discuss the ceasefire further on Sunday, March 23. Commenting on the call between Trump and Putin, Witkoff said, "It was these two great leaders coming together for the betterment of mankind." When asked, "Does that mean that they [Russians] themselves won't rearm also? Will there be reciprocity there?", Witkoff replied: "Well, I think the devil's in the details." Witkoff also said he "commended" president Putin several times and said Putin "didn't want to see more people dying in the field."

This is a war that Putin has been planning and carried out on his own. The United States, under President Biden, even sent his CIA director to warn Putin not to do it, that there would be serious consequences. And you just can’t allow a president today to continue blaming a U.S. president for what a war criminal in Russia has done.
