The plan includes greater access to childcare and ending families living in Bed and Breakfasts for more than six weeks. Labour claims the plan will lift more than half a million children out of poverty by 2030. But with a record four and a half million kids in the UK living below the Poverty line, campaigners have criticised the strategy, saying it lacks ambition. Richard Gaisford reports.

The poverty rate has gone up whereby the 30 percent population is living less than a dollar per day. Alarming. If WB definition of $3.5 or $4 per day is taken the more than 60 percent may love below the poverty line.
