Reporter: Those foreign countries paying those tariffs, won’t they pass those along? If they passed a tax on golf memberships, you probably at your resorts pass those along to your members right? I will never understand his supporters infatuation with him.

It’s not the foreign country that pays the U.S. tax. It is the importing U.S. company. The U.S. company then passes those costs onto the consumer.

Duties imposed last year totaled $80 billion. You could double that (haha right), spend half on propping up US industries destroyed from retaliation, and... oh jesus christ, our annual interest payment is $900 billion, you imbecilic psychopath.

He spent more on aid on farmers because of his tarrifs than he did on budget items. It was a washout and didn't pay down a damn cent. This would be worse.

Will some reporter just ask Trump “What is a tariff ?” That’s it.

Tariffs raise the cost of consumer goods, resulting in higher prices, which is inflationary. If other countries respond to Trump's tariffs with their own tariffs, which they will, then American companies will lose market share overseas. Ongoing tariffs will make America less competitive due to higher costs, resulting in recession and isolationism.

This man literally has no idea what he’s talking about or how anything actually works. It’s astonishing to me how many people he has managed to fool over the course of his pathetic and narcissistic life.

Shocking

He still doesn't understand how tariffs work🤦♂️
