2/ A fellow student who witnessed the incident tweeted yesterday, "I hadn’t even been able to digest the "foursome" yet when suddenly a girl was completely naked in the middle of Science and Research :))" (the "foursome" refers to a separate viral incident😄) This woman adds>

3/The fellow student & witness responded to someone claiming "they tore her clothes," saying: "My dear, it wasn’t a protest action. She came into the classrooms, filmed the students, and when the professors objected, she started cursing, went outside, and suddenly took off all her clothes. Why do you all make it sound so dramatic?"

4/ The student’s account, "Sushi @Soniaqvti," appears to have been deactivated following a wave of abuse, mainly from monarchist opposition accounts. However, her account was legit (and contained anti-government comments going back years) & aligns with BBC's reporting.

5/ This cached image of her account also confirms that she is a student at Tehran's Islamic Azad University of Science and Research and had a history of activism critical of the government—adding credibility to her account of what she witnessed.

6/ Another user on X, who also claims to be a classmate of the woman involved in this incident and appears credible based on her post history, writes: “There was no attack. Ms. A.D., my classmate in French Literature, does not have stable mental health. She has numerous disciplinary records at the university and has caused significant physical and psychological disturbances for us and other students.” She further explains, “The last time, I lost one of my friends because of her. She secretly recorded a video of him shaking hands and took it to security, saying, ‘They’re not related; why are they shaking hands?’ According to what she herself has shared in class and the arguments she would start, she’s divorced from her husband, and this man is her temporary husband.” Source:

7/ To clarify, based on the available facts, witness reports, and video evidence, this incident appears to be a mental health crisis rather than an act of protest where she was beaten and undressed in defiance. That said, it’s important to acknowledge the connection between mental health struggles and the broader repression and pressures faced by women in Iran. No one can claim to fully understand her state of mind. My focus here, however, is on addressing the specific claim that she was beaten over her hijab, prompting her to remove her clothes in protest. I have not seen any credible evidence to support this claim.

8/ The original claim that she was beaten then undressed in protest came from a Telegram channel with about 10k followers. This channel has also posted IDF kill charts, praised Israeli assassinations, made racist remarks about Afghan migrants, and spread baseless claims like "Hamas" and "Hashd al-Shaabi" students taking over Iranian universities. Make of that what you will. Link to their original post claiming this narrative as an "exclusive": @never_oppressed

Don’t tell the monarchists this - to them she’s a hero that will usher in the Pahlavi dynasty and crumble Iran’s government.

This is misleading. If you’re referencing the BBC Persian account, please include the initial section (any journalist here can use a translator to verify). It clearly states that eyewitnesses reported she was harassed by university security forces—a point I can corroborate from past personal experience dealing with them (as I’ve actually lived in Iran). If the goal is to seek the truth and not to support regime propaganda, this detail is essential. It’s deeply frustrating that Iranian women not only have to fight the regime for their freedom, bodily autonomy, and future, but also contend with false narratives circulated in the West.

People shouldn't be posting pictures of her. Especially without her face blurred. Imagine how she or her parents feels about her problems being discussed like this.

A few days back, a Delhi University (DU) student, Chitra Singh, has alleged harassment by a professor and pressure from college authorities, while other students reportedly gave statements against her, leading to a public dispute Chitra uploaded an Instagram reel where she shared her experience claiming she was mentally harassed by an unnamed professor over an internal issue. After she posted the video about the alleged incident, she claimed the Head of Department (HOD) pressured her to delete the post and that her admit card was withheld just before an exam. Her Instagram video created a sensation on social media with various news portals taking her side and sympathising with her, demanding justice. However, her classmates and some other students claimed that the story was one sided and that she made false allegations. One major counter-allegation is that Singh only attended three days out of a six-month semester. It is also alleged that she posted her classmates' private phone numbers online (doxxing) & defamed her. Students have claimed that the allegations by Chitra has taken a toll on the mental health of the professor. Many users claimed that the viral video itself is shaky, lacks context, and doesn't clearly show harassment, leading some to believe that Chitra's video is a social media drama without factual basis. Till date, no FIR has been filed against anyone. SWIPE TO SEE THE VIDEO UPLOADED BY CHITRA AS WELL AS THE STATEMENT OF THE STUDENTS AGAINST CHITRA. RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR ALLEGEDLY PERSECUTES CHRISTIAN PG STUDENT We received an SOS in our DM from a student from RSU. According to accounts provided by the student of Rivers State University, an incident allegedly occurred on campus yesterday involving a postgraduate student and a senior lecturer. He reports that a PG student, who is a former President of the Postgraduate Christian Fellowship, entered a Year 1 Computer Engineering class during a free period to give a brief Christian/motivational talk. The student alleges that a lecturer identified as Prof. Benjamin Senibo Pepple from the Department of Physics and a former DVC entered the room during the talk and aggressively confronted the PG student. Witnesses claim that the lecturer allegedly slapped the student several times, pulled his shirt, and verbally harassed him before contacting the CSO. The PG student was allegedly detained by campus security from morning until night and is now reported to be in poor health. Students further allege that similar incidents involving Christian student leaders have happened before and are calling on the RSU leadership, state authorities, and the public to intervene. In a dreadful event a Hindu girl has been missing since 2019 in Pune, Maharashtra. Keep in mind that the girl was in 10th standard back then, only 16 years old! She was returning from her final SSC exams when she was abducted by an 'unidentified person' as stated by her father in a missing person complaint. Years passed and despite the continuous pleading of the girl's family, Police failed in finding the girl, after a while the family discovered that their daughter was abducted by Javed Sheikh. The family in fear of shame did not tell anyone about the abduction but were actively trying to search for the girl, In this quest the girl's brother with the help of his friend discovered that Javed was a resident of their town Manchar, after which they located his house and observed it for weeks. Later, after inquiring the neighbors, they found out there was a new girl that had joined Javed's home recently and that she was a newly added 'family member'. The family figured that their girl had been forcefully married against their will, so they decided to barge into the house on 16 May. They spotted their girl in a Hijab in one of the rooms, the girl was scared of her core! The family's earlier speculation was that the girl is scared of them and their fury of her marrying against their will. But the truth will baffle you. The girl was not scared of her family, she was scared of people, each and every person around her, because she was in trauma, in depression, after the family rescued her she revealed that- After she was abducted by Javed, she was brutally tortured and assaulted by Javed and his family members. She also said that she was raped and kept hostage for months in the apartment. She has been diagnosed with severe depression and, as said earlier, is even scared of everyone around her, including her own family members, due to trauma. She was married forcefully against her will, was raped, forced to go through conversion, marks of cigarettes were all over her body, allegation is also that she was thrown into a racket of prostitution for 6 months! Now tell me, how can a human being do this? What possible hate could they have against Hindus to fall to such a level?
