Yet another incident of violence against the Hindu minority has been reported from Bangladesh, ahead of the upcoming elections. A 23-year-old Hindu man, identified as Chanchal Chandra Bhowmik, was burned alive while sleeping inside a garage in Narsingdi, around 50 km from Dhaka. Police said unidentified miscreants set the garage on fire, and CCTV footage is being examined to identify the attackers. The incident has intensified concerns over the safety of minority communities amid a spate of recent attacks on Hindus across the country.
