In the morning, when body was taken for post-mortem, Moti chased vehicle before being allowed to ride along. From post-mortem centre to the cremation ground, Moti remained close to Jagdish, staying with him till the final rites were performed by villagers. Even after cremation, the dog continued to sit near the pyre in silence, even refusing to eat.
