reposting the video since twitter is being a BITCH

pencil tests are so cool to look at

real

I would like to post a full comparison

The behind the scenes (I think from the DVD?) claims that every episode of the Animated Series (original 2002 run) has Rowan performing reference for the animation. If true, it would explain why Mr. Bean's mannerisms always seems to be on point in the series.

Always love a good pencil test. Know who the animator is?

Elroy Simmons

@OleLoken i believe this is gary dunn's animation judging by how this is the sequence used in the final credits elroy simmons' animation can be found on his vimeo page

@OleLoken ah, i mustve confused them, mb

@Animaten_Saine Rowan was a little devil thing

It's a surprise that this show has been going on since the 2000s (Just like Peppa Pig, Except this came before that)

It's crazy how beautiful this world is

holy mr bean

His moe is DANCINF OFF THE ROOFTOP

I love how fluid this looks, kinda mesmerizing

This animation is smooth

It’s called X now

This probably wasted a tree's worth of paper

I remember when I first saw the Mr Bean cartoon on CITV when I got home from school, and I'd brought a friend back that afternoon, and my first reaction was; "Why is his nose a great big dildo?" We were in the worst stitches in tears laughing 😭
