UPDATE—An ICE official confirms this leaked video from inside ICE detention is "100% real." Congresswoman said one cell had "50 people, concrete floors, a bench, and a makeshift bathroom in the middle." "I'd rather be in prison... at least there you get a bed and food to eat." Maryland Representative April McClain Delaney was the only member of Congress allowed inside the holding facility at the George H. Fallon Federal Building in downtown Baltimore. She described the conditions as "heartbreaking" and "horrendous." "They're not allowed to leave that ever—the entire time—even to use the bathroom or get a shower. They do it all in there." Department of Homeland Security officials blamed the harsh conditions for detainees on the winter weather.

Today we were denied entry to an ICE facility in Baltimore where were exercising our oversight role as Members of Congress. The law is clear: ICE is REQUIRED to let us into these facilities. They just don't want the American people to see what's happening behind closed doors.

I was the only member of Congress allowed inside, and the viral video is real—ICE is holding people in a 12-hour Baltimore facility for days on end, without showers, adequate food, or basic human dignity. This is unacceptable and un-American.

VIDEO THREAD: Members of the Proud Boys marched to Delaney Hall ICE facility in Newark, New Jersey today, joining forces with other pro-ICE protesters. Anti-ICE protesters verbally confronted them on the way in. Proud Boys condemned illegal immigration and called conditions at Delaney Hall “for what they did, as good as they’re gonna be treated” and a “deterrent.”

🚨 JUST IN: New Jersey Gov. Mike Sherrill (D) just got BLOCKED by DHS from entering the ICE facility in Newark She tried pulling a Memorial Day STUNT and she got absolutely nowhere. PATHETIC! 🤡 What a depraved way to spend Memorial Day. DHS: "Governor Sherrill's visit to Delaney Hall is nothing more than a political stunt on Memorial Day, when visitation is currently suspended due to riots outside the facility." 📽️ NJDotCom, CBS NY

Baltimore DEI Mayor Brandon Scott called a reporter Racist because she asked why he spent $163,000 of taxpayer dollars on a an armored SUV 🤣 His vehicle is more expensive than the Governor’s and every other state official, lol, but he claims is typical base pricing for an SUV. He is robbing Baltimore blind.

“They are beaten in the face. They beat them.” A viral video posted on Reddit and Facebook apparently shows leaked footage from a downtown Baltimore ICE holding facility, with at least three dozen people crammed into a single room. The video has not been verified. However, in a released statement ICE did not challenge the authenticity of the footage, blaming overcrowded conditions on bad winter weather.

During my visit to the Baltimore ICE facility, a career DHS employee said to me, “This is not who I am, but what I do.” I told them: “What we do is who we are.” The horrible conditions I witnessed are happening under Kristi Noem’s leadership. This is about who we are as a country — and we must demand transparency, humanity, and respect for constitutional rights.

I just conducted an unprompted, late night oversight visit at an ICE holding facility at the Mesa Gateway Airport with Rep. Greg Stanton and Rep. Adelita Grijalva. What we saw was shocking and sick. Well over 240 detainees stacked like sardines in cells. People were sick and ICE was refusing medical care. Here’s what happened.

Watters: Is there an internment camp in the everglades? Miller: There is an ICE facility that provides a far superior level of housing and accommodation then is available to millions of Americans who are living in section 8 housing and other low income areas of our own cities. Like Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago. How many Americans are living in abominable conditions? Compared to the pristine conditions of our I.C.E. Facilities and our border patrol facilities. At every turn illegal aliens have always been treated better than Americans.
