Birth certificates are never changed. Women bring their marriage licenses (divorce papers if applicable) along with their birth certificate to the BMV. It’s not hard, just a minor inconvenience. They do the same to change their name on their social security card for taxes at the social security office. This is no reason to not require a valid legal ID showing citizenship to vote.

Why are you lying, @HillaryScholten? Women already have their birth certificates and marriage licenses because of the REAL ID Act, which was fully implemented as of May 7, 2025. The REAL ID Act requires birth certificates and marriage licenses (for name changes) OR passports to obtain or renew driver’s licenses or government IDs. All legal citizens already have these documents because they’ve already had to present them for the REAL ID Act. Democrats are fighting the SAVE Act because they want election cheating to continue—they know they can’t win without it.

The problem with her argument is…and all the others…is that it isn’t a burden for any American to prove they are a citizen. It’s February. They have until November. If they can’t get registered in 9 months it’s either due to their own negligence, pure laziness or incompetence. The rest of us shouldn’t have our votes jeopardized because of it!!!

This is completely unhinged rhetoric. I have seen estimates from 21 million to 69 million and now 160k women won’t be able to vote because they got married. I got married. Took my marriage license, birth certificate and social security card and had everything updated when I changed my name. Since 1991, I have continued to update my license and voter registration as needed without problem.
