Rosen told CBS News' Jonah Kaplan after the capture of the alleged second-in-command in what's been described as the largest COVID-19 relief fraud scheme ever charged in the U.S. The massive fraud scheme, centered in Minnesota, allegedly stole more than $250 million in federal child nutrition funds meant to feed children during the pandemic. Abdikerm Eidleh, 42, was taken into custody Thursday in Mogadishu, Somalia, in a daytime raid coordinated by both the FBI and Somali intelligence agencies. Eidleh was indicted in September 2022 as part of the Feeding Our Future fraud investigation and had fled the U.S. in 2021.
