If you lie on your visa application to come here for a vacation and then file an asylum application to stay, that lie disqualifies you from the start. If you get a court date, the ruling will be that you should be removed.

Any false information is automatic Deportation. Immigration process takes time. When a person comes in the country must immediately reach out to the Immigration department and apply accordingly for an extension. Immigration lawyer will be very helpful.

Last I checked, it was taking 4-5 years for an asylum hearing & 80% were denied, meaning the people lied on their application. What's not denied? Their anchor babies receiving "Free Stuff" because the SCOTUS said they're American citizens.

Or just renewing their visa, so they can stay. Visa renewal is not a hard process if it's done before it expires. After it expires is a different story.

She needs to know how visa works. Majority of the categories are explicitly Non-immigration visas. Over-staying these visas is illegal as acknowledged and agreed by a visa holder per procedure. There is no such a thing called over-staying an immigration visas.
