A governor who believes in public schools can fight for fair funding, safe and productive classrooms, high quality schools, higher teacher pay, and the belief that every child deserves a great public education—no exceptions. There are some self-proclaimed Christians pushing voucher scams. Vouchers take money from public schools and give it to wealthy parents who already send their kids to private school. I can’t think of anything more un-Christian than stealing from the poor to give to the rich.
