Democrats don’t want a shutdown. We offered a plan to keep the government open and protect healthcare. Republicans killed it. We won’t rubber-stamp this president’s unconstitutional power grabs. If Republicans choose a shutdown, that’s on them.

House Republicans are now on their THIRD WEEK of vacation during a government shutdown. Democrats are in D.C. demanding an end to the shutdown and a full release of the Epstein files. Release them, NOW.

Senate Republicans are trying to hide the true cost of their billionaire tax giveaways. That’s right. They know how unpopular their billionaire tax cuts are. They know they’ll add FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS to the debt, raising costs for YOU. Democrats are going to expose them.

Today, House Republicans did our job and voted to keep the government funded while 212 House Democrats voted for a shutdown. Now, Senate Democrats have to decide if they want to do the right thing or if they’ll join House Democrats and shut down the government.

We are now two days away from a government shutdown, and Senate Democrats are refusing to allow a CR to come for a vote. If the government shuts down on Friday, that will be the Democrats' fault, not Republicans.

I get that Democrats made their campaign promises to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. But Republicans made our promises to the AMERICAN PEOPLE, and we are not going to let Democrats blow more than a TRILLION DOLLARS on their left-wing radical wish list!

Democrats will try ANYTHING to appease their base… A government shutdown. “Hate America” rallies — even calling for a FORCEFUL UPRISING. Republicans are focused on delivering for the American people!

A ton of voters only get their news about Democrats…from Republicans. To fight back, we should build up independent progressive media, reach out to voters who don’t watch political news—AND go on offense on conservative outlets. That’s why I went on Fox News. Break the bubble.
