I voted NO on House Republicans’ spending bill just now because the bill does nothing to solve the continuing health care crisis that Republicans created. This is a dirty bill that will continue to prevent millions of Americans from receiving the care they need. House Democrats are fighting like hell to lower costs and reverse the health care cuts that Republicans made in their Big Ugly Law, and save YOUR health care.

A prison that is neglecting, abusing, and traumatizing kids. There is no safe amount of time for a child to be in detention. Dilley immigration detention center must be shut down. It is a bill that threatens $300 billion in cuts to food assistance, it is a bill that puts health care further out of reach for nearly 14 million people. Doesn’t Gavin Newsom have a major point here? Republicans are literally giving more rights to fathers who are fathers because they raped someone than to families who want to try and have children through IVF. I want to know if there are actually any Republicans out there who think that the law in Alabama, which basically says that killing an embryo is killing a child is actually good for families? I also want to know if there are any Republicans who actually think that women who are raped should be forced to give birth to the rapist’s child.
