I agree. She shouldn't be mocked for her age or fertility struggle. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with IVF. But, she should absolutely be exposed and scrutinized for doing this publicly to score political points. Particularly when it clashes with her prior statements on becoming a parent.

We all need to support having more children or having the opportunity to have children. Families are essential in our society.

“Take the bait.” You think she’s baiting MAGA? Maybe she’s just a decent person empowering women and valuing herself. If you want women to vote Republican then maybe ACTUALLY display your ideas as genuine. Otherwise, you’re just a shitty person trying to make your party line work for your career. You could just simply say “I know many women in this position and while AOC and I may not agree on many things, I support her decision and her bravery to publicly display it.”

I 100% agree. The comments people are posting about it is such a put down to all women in general. We live in a time where the war against women is at a peak. On top of that there are many who are trying to get pregnant, or can’t, or are having a hard time finding a complimentary mate… People are just being so so mean. I don’t like AOC but conservatives have crossed the line and it is saddening. A baby is a gift from God, born innocent. We should not put down God’s gift regardless who the parents are. Everything is according to his plan. We need to practice more grace and not be mean. Meanness is not like Jesus.
