WaPo journalist Catherine Rampell was torched by Rep. Malliotakis for claiming that border crossings “went down” under Biden. “I’m still in shock that you actually said that the border crossings went down under Biden... that’s so disingenuous.” The representative is correct; border crossings were at record highs for most of his term, and then, at the very end of his presidency, he issued Executive Orders to reel in the border. To disregard that in your reasoning is disingenuous.

🚨 REPUBLICANS NEED TO TELL THE DAMN STORY It’s not enough to just warn about socialism. We have to aggressively explain WHY our policies work — and why theirs destroy. On tariffs specifically: The administration needs to be hammering this message nonstop: these tariffs are bringing jobs BACK to America. Stop letting the media and the left define the narrative. Focus on the home front. Show working people exactly how this protects their wages, their factories, and their future. That’s what needs to be front and center heading into the midterms. Tell the story. Sell the results. Don’t let them get away with calling economic strength “chaos.”

Good morning to everyone in Massachusetts who know why we have sky-high costs. Massachusetts is now one of the most expensive states in the country to live in. Housing is out of reach, energy bills keep climbing, groceries cost more every month, and taxes never seem to go down. This didn’t happen by accident. It’s the result of decades of one-party Democrat control on Beacon Hill. Look around the country. The highest cost-of-living states are almost all Democrat-run. Meanwhile, many of the most affordable states are run by Republicans. That’s not coincidence. It’s policy. Democrats love to talk about affordability, but their policies make nothing more affordable. More regulation, higher taxes, higher energy costs, and endless spending drive businesses and families out of Massachusetts every year. Even wages tell the story. Working people felt relief when Republicans pushed for economic growth and fiscal restraint. When Democrats regain full control, spending explodes and real wages fall behind the cost of living. There is a clear pattern. One-party rule makes Massachusetts more expensive and less livable.
