Darling baby Jip is 24 days old. I know this because the lower teeth of baby hedgehogs begin to erupt on day 21, with the upper teeth breaking through about 3 days later. Even though just tiny pointy nubs, Jip was so starving hungry when I'd finished his first aid that he attempted some babycat dry biscuits. This kept him happy, 'teething' on these, while I made up some baby slop (warm soaked and liquidised biscuits). After eating Jip slept all afternoon and evening. This would be the first time he'd felt safe and warm and full since losing his mum. He woke around midnight and ate and drank, little and often, until dawn. I'm cautiously optimistic for young Jip.🥰

PLEASE RT - CENTRAL FLORIDA - PLEASE RT Well folks once again I got an adorable little dude who needs a home. Meet Nicky Fruitloops (aka Woof 2). It took me almost an ENTIRE YEAR to tame this feral cat. But now he's the friendliest cat you've ever seen! It's getting cold out, and now that he's mellowed out and become friendly to people...it's time for him to retire from the street life. I would like to get this stray cat adopted by someone so he can spend the rest of his days comfortable, warm, dry and safe. He's earned it. If anyone in the Central Florida area, specifically Polk County, is willing to adopt this kitty, I will pay for all his initial vet bills. I'll get him vaccinated, neutered, tested for any major health issues and he will be 100% ready to join your family with no issues. The only issue is that he will need to be your only cat. He has been feral for at least 2 years and it's unlikely he'll ever be "friends" with any other cats. But he's absolutely GREAT with people and would be eternally grateful if you would consider letting him join your family. If you are interested in adopting this sweet boy please DM me!

Some great news this morning 😁 On Sunday morning during community watch around the town centre I bumped into a homeless guy who'd been walking the streets for 3 days and had had no sleep. He was in Macdonald's keeping warm at 6am so I offered him the caravan that night. His brother saw the video of us all having breakfast in wetherspoons and reached out as him and his mum had been worried sick, he's not from this town, so yesterday I met the brother in town and found his brother Aaron for him and they reunited and he is now back were he belongs with his family and no longer on the streets 💙 thank you everyone that shared the video, social media is the most powerful tool at our disposal 👊🏻

This young lady was filming herself at lunch, she wanted to show her friends what she was having at a new restaurant. Suddenly a man walks up and seemingly asks for her chair at the table and she agrees to give him the chair. However that’s not what he had in mind. He wanted to sit down and join her. At this point she looks terrified that a stranger is sitting with her, asking her personal questions. Today, around midnight I came across a middle-aged lady sitting by the roadside with two young children. She looked lost and desperate, so I decided to check on her and find out what was wrong. To my surprise, I realized she was the same lady I had helped some time ago at a different location, where she had claimed to be fundraising. When I questioned her about why she was out in the cold with her children so late at night, she told me she had been locked out of her house due to an unpaid debt of Ksh 1,500. Feeling for her situation, I offered to request a taxi for her or accompany her home and pay the debt directly to her landlord. However, she hesitated and refused my help, choosing instead to walk away. This kind of behavior of using innocent children to exploit public sympathy is deeply concerning. It is unfair and should be called out. Children should never be used as tools for manipulation, especially in such harsh conditions.
