If you have to approach a strange, frightened kitten, hold out your hand palm-up. Palm-down as in petting is like a claw to them, a threat. It looks like you're trying to take a piece out of them, not pet them. Palm-up means play. Rub a cheek with a side of your finger and they'll calm down quick. Then they won't freak when you DO pet them.

I don't trust this at all. Indians have been content farming for years by abusing animals and then filming themselves being kind or "rescuing" them from situations they placed the animals in. I have a feeling that kitten knows this man and deeply distrust him.

@wakaisc8 Cats only ever lash out because they’re scared or in pain. (Or have been prodded and poked one too many times for their liking). They all just want to feel secure and be loved. 🥰
