Ravinder Jatheri is on Hunger Strike since last 77 days against the misuse of SC/ST Act. But, our Govt, Judiciary and even Media are least bothered. When protests were announced against UGC bill then Govt used brutal force and arrested hundreds of people to prevent them from organizing any protest. Govt denied us permission multiple times to protest at Jantar Mantar against the misuse of Laws and Male Suicide. We were forced to leave the protest venue sharp at 5 pm whenever we protested at Jantar Mantar. Our entire team were arrested within 10 minutes when we assembled to do a candle March at India Gate in Dec 2024 to demand Justice For #AtulSubhash. But, the same Govt provided protection and allowed CJP to protest at Jantar Mantar for weeks. Seems, Govt of India has decided to implement 100% reservation in organizing protests and demonstrations. Only women, LGBTQ and some special category people are allowed to do any kind of protests in the country now.

The Kozyrev Doctrine – Why India Turned Away From Russia and Went West. And Why India needs to be Wary of Jumping Back to Moscow. 1. If hell is run by an Indian, there is a special place in it for Andrei Kozyrev, the Russian foreign minister from 1990 to 1996. 2. When the Soviet Union collapsed, Kozyrev became the new foreign minister of Russia, and supported close ties with the West. He may have been a CIA mole because he single handedly destroyed the decades old Indo-Soviet partnership. 3. As per the Kozyrev Doctrine, the new Russia would no longer give special importance to India but instead would treat India and Pakistan as equals. This Russian foreign policy seemed like it was drafted in Washington DC. 4. The new Russian Doctrine took things too far. When Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao sent his emissary Mani Dixit to the Kremlin to urgently get spare parts for India's armed forces (which depended on Russia for 70% of their requirements), Kozyrev refused to meet him and instead sent a junior diplomat. No guarantees were given about spares. 5. If Pakistan or China had attacked India at that time, India's armed forces would have run out of spares in a week. This was not only a violation of legal contracts but a major betrayal that India's leadership took very seriously. 6. So Pakistan, the country that was responsible for the deaths of 15,000 Soviet lives during the Afghanistan War, was equated with India, a time tested friend. 7. Kozyrev relegated India to a secondary role. And India's leadership was forced to look West. 8. It was under Kozyrev's watch that India diversified away from Russia. Narasimha Rao had no choice but to diversify India's security links as its most crucial erstwhile ally continued to labour in confusion and anxiety over its economic and political status, with no clear signal regarding its foreign policy preferences. 9. Kozyrev currently lives in Miami where he has acquired lots of wealth and a nice tan. He slams Putin to the delight of his American backers (or perhaps CIA handlers). If Kozyrev is indeed an American asset then US intelligence agents deserve Congressional medals for pulling India away from the Russian sphere. 10. Following the Russian betrayal, India splurged billions of dollars on American weapons such as 12 C-130J Super Hercules aircraft ($2 billion), eight P-8I long-range maritime patrol aircraft ($2.1 billion), 10 C-17 Globemaster-III strategic airlift aircraft ($4.1 billion), and 145 ultralight M177 howitzers ($438 million), and 22 Apache attack helicopters plus 15 Chinook heavy-lift choppers ($2.5 billion). 11. The Kremlin has two types of diplomats. The old guard which values Russia's relationship with India and the rest of the world. Vladimir Putin belongs to this group which is currently powerful. 12. The second is the "Look West" group which seeks to build the unviable "Vancouver to Vladivostok Common European Family." Because let's face it, the Anglo Saxon looks down upon the Slav, especially the Russian, as Untermensch - racially inferior. 13. Putin and the old guard know this. The younger Russians are not as aware or do not care about their place on the geopolitical chessboard. All they care about is Starbucks. Many young Russians live in delusion that because they are white the West will welcome them as the last bulwark against the Asian hordes. 14. So the words of Russian diplomat Roman Babushkin hold little value. He is right that unlike the West, Moscow will never impose sanctions against India. But that is true only as long as Putin is around. The next generation of Russian leaders will once again sell their country to the Americans - just like Yeltsin and Kozyrev did. 15. Modi's Multilateralism is the best policy for India. Work with everybody. But do not trust anybody. The US is a future adversary - absorb as much technology as possible from it before the inevitable clash. Russia is unreliable - use it as a source of cheap oil and minerals.

You asked him back whether we made a single unit which brought in foreign exchange. Here you go, Madame Ji. This is just a beginning! Last year India's Software exports were $205.2 Billion out of $776.68B total exports. This is a huge 26% of the overall export. This is our single biggest contribution to our exports. From starting the first Computer Science course in IIT Kharagpur in 1971, to STPI to Aadhaar and NPCI we've built this software industry in India from ground up. What was your party doing back then? Trying to obstruct everything and create as many hurdles as possible. Let us remind you that your party declared 1984 as 'anti-computerisation year' and worked towards obstructing the IT sector which was the future. Despite all challenges, we went ahead and did it with the support of vast number of talented engineers of India. Here is a brief history of it. How India Became a Global IT Superpower A few decades ago, India was not known for computers or software. But today, it is one of the biggest IT hubs in the world. Millions of Indians work in the software industry, and companies like Infosys, Wipro, and TCS are global giants. This transformation did not happen overnight. It was the result of important government policies and decisions that started in the 1970s. Let’s go back in time and see how India’s IT journey began. IITs and the Birth of Computer Science Courses (1970s-1980s) India’s famous IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) started computer science courses in the 1970s and 1980s. IIT Kanpur was one of the first to introduce a Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program in 1971, with the help of US universities. By the 1980s, almost all IITs and NITs had computer science departments. This was the first step in producing highly skilled software engineers. Many of these graduates went on to work in Silicon Valley or for Indian IT companies. Rajiv Gandhi and the Computer Revolution (1984-1989 In the 1980s, India was not very advanced in technology. Computers were rare, and many people feared that they would take away jobs. But Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi saw the future. He believed that computers would help India grow. This created excitement around computers, and many young students started taking interest in computer science. The 1986 Software Export Policy – India Opens to the World In 1986, the government introduced a policy to promote software exports. The goal was to make India a hub for IT services. This led to the creation of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) in 1991, where software companies could work with tax benefits. Foreign companies also started outsourcing their software work to India. Suddenly, there were many job opportunities in IT, and students began choosing computer science as a career. The 1991 Economic Reforms – A Game Changer The biggest turning point came in 1991 when India opened its economy to foreign investment. Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao and Finance Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh introduced economic liberalization. Before 1991, starting a company in India was difficult because of too many government rules. After 1991, foreign companies like IBM and Microsoft entered India, creating more jobs in IT. This encouraged even more students to study computer science. The Y2K Boom – India Saves the World (Late 1990s) In the late 1990s, the world faced a big problem – the Y2K bug. Many old computer programs used two-digit years (e.g., ‘99’ for 1999). People feared that when the year 2000 came, computers might fail. Indian IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, and TCS came to the rescue. They fixed Y2K bugs for global companies. This made India famous as a reliable IT outsourcing destination. After this, many foreign companies started hiring Indian engineers for software work. Sometimes I don’t understand why Ajit Agarkar was and is always against Sanju Samson In 2023, India had 3 squads for the Asia Cup, Asian Games & ODI World Cup. 31 different players got selected across those tournaments & somehow Sanju wasn’t part of any squads. What’s even crazier is that he was picked as a reserve player for the Asia Cup, which meant he wasn’t part of the Asian Games squad & it also affected his plans to play County Cricket. So in the end he wasn’t part of the Asia Cup squad, wasn’t part of the Asian Games squad & couldn’t continue with his County plans either. Everyone who followed the ODI matches before the 2023 World Cup knew Sanju was the most deserving guy who wasn’t picked in the squad. When Sanju scored 3 T20I centuries as an opener in 2024, Ajit Agarkar openly said he was only playing because Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal were unavailable. Imagine saying that about a player who had just scored 3 centuries in 5 matches for India in T20Is something no one has done before in a year. Most players would get backed after performances like that. That was so disrespectful from the national selector. I wonder how Sanju would have felt that day. Then came the ODI explanation. Ajit Agarkar said Sanju wasn’t being picked because he was a top-order batter. But Sanju has literally batted everywhere in ODI cricket other than opening and his numbers have been excellent irrespective of the position. His last ODI innings was a match-winning century in a series decider against South Africa at Paarl, one of the toughest batting venues in the country, and after that innings he never played another ODI for India. Last year selectors picked ODI squad with 3 different WKs for a series & Sanju wasn’t one of them. That’s when the explanation came that Sanju is a top-order batter. But now Virat Kohli gets injured and India need a No.3 batter, yet Sanju still isn’t being considered despite being the last Indian batter other than Kohli to score an ODI century at No.3. So he wasn’t picked because he was a top-order batter, but when a top-order spot opens up he still isn’t picked. What kind of logic is that? Sometimes I don’t understand why Ajit Agarkar was and is always against Sanju Samson In 2023, India had 3 squads for the Asia Cup, Asian Games & ODI World Cup. 31 different players got selected across those tournaments & somehow Sanju wasn’t part of any squads. What’s even crazier is that he was picked as a reserve player for the Asia Cup, which meant he wasn’t part of the Asian Games squad & it also affected his plans to play County Cricket. So in the end he wasn’t part of the Asia Cup squad, wasn’t part of the Asian Games squad & couldn’t continue with his County plans either. Everyone who followed the ODI matches before the 2023 World Cup knew Sanju was the most deserving guy who wasn’t picked in the squad. When Sanju scored 3 T20I centuries as an opener in 2024, Ajit Agarkar openly said he was only playing because Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal were unavailable. Imagine saying that about a player who had just scored 3 centuries in 5 matches for India in T20Is something no one has done before in a year. Most players would get backed after performances like that. That was so disrespectful from the national selector. I wonder how Sanju would have felt that day. Then came the ODI explanation. Ajit Agarkar said Sanju wasn’t being picked because he was a top-order batter. But Sanju has literally batted everywhere in ODI cricket other than opening and his numbers have been excellent irrespective of the position. His last ODI innings was a match-winning century in a series decider against South Africa at Paarl, one of the toughest batting venues in the country, and after that innings he never played another ODI for India. Last year selectors picked ODI squad with 3 different WKs for a series & Sanju wasn’t one of them. That’s when the explanation came that Sanju is a top-order batter. But now Virat Kohli gets injured and India need a No.3 batter, yet Sanju still isn’t being considered despite being the last Indian batter other than Kohli to score an ODI century at No.3. So he wasn’t picked because he was a top-order batter, but when a top-order spot opens up he still isn’t picked. What kind of logic is that? The only ICC tournament he actually got an opportunity to play, he ended up being the best player of the tournament📈 One of the things I admire most about Sanju is that he has never shown frustration. He never complained, never held grudges against those who disrespected him, and never made excuses. When PM2.5 penetrates the bloodstream irreversibly, the absolute concentration determines long-term health damage, and not whether the AQI is calculated using US, Indian, or EU methods. And for the record, the screen-capture of the top 200 most polluted cities is based entirely on CPCB benchmarks. For nearly 2 years, Manipur has been burning, and the government totally failed in stopping the violence. Over 260 people have been killed, over 60,000 displaced, thousands of homes and religious sites have been destroyed and families have been torn apart. Yet the BJP watched in silence. More than 4,700 homes have been burnt, and over 13,000 structures, including schools, hospitals and places of worship, have been destroyed. Between 3 May and 30 July 2023, over 3000 FIRs were registered related to rape, sexual violence, murder, and loot. The internet was shut down for 204 days, the longest blackout in Indian history. Sophisticated weapons like AK-47s were stolen from the police stations. In the wake of all this, the Manipur economy collapsed. GST collection has fallen while retail inflation has surged, making life unbearable for ordinary citizens. The CM should have taken moral responsibility and resigned. All this time, the BJP was working to save PM Modi instead of Manipur. So, they refused to go there, and especially the PM didn't visit Manipur even once. Shri Rahul Gandhi visited Manipur many times and even started the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from that state. He went there and listened to all sections of the society. Also, the delegation of Opposition MPs from both Houses visited. Recently, the Supreme Court judges also visited the state. But not Modi ji. He carries out election rallies across India but doesn't go there. He sends Amit Shah ji or Rijiju ji but doesn't go himself. People of Manipur have lost trust in him. In the state, the BJP has lost the confidence and lost both Lok Sabha seats. Instead, people trusted the Congress party and its candidates to represent them in Parliament. Clearly, BJP's incompetence forced them to impose President's rule despite having 55 MLAs in the Assembly. Lastly, I would urge this House to send a message of peace to the people of Manipur. The entire country stands with them, and we should all come together and work for Manipur's future.

Trump’s Kyiv story is absolute weapons-grade bullshit. Yes, Russian forces moved toward Kyiv. Yes, there was a massive convoy north of the city. Yes, mud mattered. Yes, Javelins helped. His claim is basically this: Russia had a perfect highway to Kyiv, one idiot general randomly chose a muddy field instead, the tanks got stuck like cartoon villains, and then Trump’s magical Javelins saved Ukraine. The Russian column was not just hundreds of tanks. It was a huge mixed military convoy: tanks, armored vehicles, trucks, fuel tankers, artillery, supply vehicles, and troops. It stalled because Russia’s entire invasion plan was rotten: bad logistics, fuel shortages, food shortages, poor maintenance, congestion, mechanical failures, Ukrainian resistance, destroyed bridges, artillery fire, ambushes, drones, flooding, mud, and failed operations around Hostomel, Irpin, Moshchun, Brovary, and Chernihiv. There was no single genius moment where Russia could have just gone straight down the “concrete highway” and won the war in four hours. That is idiotic. A tank’s top road speed is irrelevant when you are moving a massive invasion force through hostile territory, under attack, with broken logistics, contested airspace, destroyed infrastructure, and people shooting at you. Roads aren’t even made of fucking concrete. It’s not Trump Tower. And then there is the Javelin lie. Trump keeps saying, “I gave them Javelins,” like he personally walked into Kyiv with a shopping bag full of missiles. No. The first 2018 package was a Foreign Military Sale. Ukraine requested to buy 210 Javelin missiles and 37 launch units for about $47 million. Bought. Not gifted by Saint Donald of Anti-Tank Charity. And even that came with restrictions. Ukrainian forces were initially limited in how they could deploy and use them, with later rules allowing defensive use more broadly. So even his one favourite talking point is inflated, stripped of context, and repackaged as self-worship. Javelins helped. Nobody serious denies that. But they were not the only reason Russian armor got mauled. Ukraine also had NLAWs, Stugna-P, Korsar, Barrier, older ATGWs, artillery, drones, mines, ambush teams, destroyed bridges, flooded approaches, local defenders, and actual soldiers who knew what they were doing. The “Obama gave them sheets” line is also bullshit. Obama refused lethal anti-tank weapons, which is a fair criticism. But US support under Obama was not just blankets. It included training, body armor, helmets, vehicles, night and thermal vision, radios, patrol boats, rations, tents, counter-mortar radars, uniforms, medical supplies, and other equipment. So the real version is simple: Russia did not fail at Kyiv because one general picked mud over a motorway.
