Accountability = Resignation If the state lacks accountability, people in a democracy can force it. The Mechanism of the failure is the lack of vigilance, lack of awareness, and lack of accountability. The people in our democracy are forcing them onto the government. (Good thing)

@harjotbains @rojimjohn vigilance and awareness are not systematic reforms. They're vocabulary. You're preaching a precedent that teaches being "loud" and aggressive wins. Democracy doesn't mean you enforce the worst with aggression.

Vigilance and awareness are the paths that lead to systemic reforms. Bring loud sets a precedent that people care and are aggressive for accountability for the leaders sitting at the helm of the government. As Shashi Tharoor said, it is an acknowledgement that accountability can not be indefinitely evaded. This is not where it ends, this is where it starts.
